Doug Root is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Blackfin Real Estate Investors and Iron Fish Construction. Since starting Blackfin in 2016 their team has acquired over 14,000 multifamily units. 
Currently their portfolio consists of 11,000+ units and an acquisition value over $2 Billion.
