E.F. "Buddy" Hucks is the President of EF Hucks and Associates and Hucks Curry Advisors. Buddy has over 40 years of commercial and residential real estate appraisal. In 1991, Buddy founded EF Hucks and Associates, an independent appraisal company in Myrtle Beach, SC specializing in appraisals for lenders along the coast of South Carolina.
During the past 25 years, Buddy has consulted and advised developers and has been actively involved in the sale and development of over $400 million of real estate along the Grand Strand.

After receiving his Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University in 1983, Jeff began a 14-year career with Liberty Properties Group, the real estate operating company of Liberty Life Insurance Company. As Vice President of Liberty’s Residential Land Division in the Southeast, Jeff managed a $70 million portfolio of communities. In 1997, The Randolph Group was formed and today owns, manages or provides consulting services for a portfolio of residential and mixed-use communities in Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, and Greensboro.

Matt Sloan is President & CEO of DI Development Company. With over 30 years experience leading prominent real estate and community development projects in Charleston, Matt is a regional leader within the industry. He began his career working in real estate consulting and in 1991, as a project manager representing the Guggenheim family, he became part of the team that created the visionary master plan for Daniel Island in Charleston. He went on to become managing partner of the investment group responsible for Daniel Island's development, maintaining overall responsibility for development, marketing and sales activities as it evolved into an award-winning master planned community over the course of more than two decades.
As founder of the DI Development Company, Sloan now oversees development at Point Hope, the planned community emerging on the 9,000-acre Cainhoy property in Charleston. His team, many of whom he worked with during Daniel Island's development, manages the day-to-day development activities at Point Hope, including strategic planning, permitting, infrastructure, amenity planning, builder relations and marketing strategies.
